Good Friday ~ April 3, 7:00 pm

We read the passion according to John, celebrating Christ’s “victory” from the cross. This most solemn night includes prayer, meditation, song, and silence as we ponder the mystery of the cross and look for Christ’s resurrection.

Easter Vigil ~ April 4, 7:00 pm
In person & via Zoom
This is the Night! This is the highlight of the Church year! And after a year of construction hiatus, we are celebrating the Easter Vigil again at Central!
On this night we proclaim the victory of Christ even in the midst of the shadows of the fading light. The liturgy begins in the courtyard with the first fire of Easter, the procession of the light into the fellowship hall, the telling of the ancient stories of our faith, and the celebration of Christ's resurrection. After worship, we will have a festive Easter reception as we rejoice together.
Note: This service will be longer than usual, perhaps 2 hours, and you don't want to miss it!

Easter at Central Lutheran

Come and celebrate the triumph of life over death and the resurrection of Christ! Bring your friends and family for the high holy day of the Church year as we share in our God’s feast of victory! All are welcome to join as we celebrate Christ's resurrection on Sunday, April 5.
8:30 am ~ Potluck Easter Breakfast ~ The Central celebration begins in the Parish Hall at 8:30 am with a potluck breakfast. Please bring your whole family plus your favorite Easter foods and treats of all kinds to share: eggs, casseroles, fruits, etc. Juice, coffee, and tea will be provided.
9:30 am ~ Easter Egg Hunt ~ Before worship, ALL kids are specially invited to join in an Easter egg hunt, with toys and individual wrapped sweet treats to discover. Bring your baskets and have some fun!

Central Lutheran In-Person Sunday School
Welcome to Sunday School, kids of all ages are welcome: 9 am - 9:50 am, Sunday mornings. Lessons! Projects! Snacks! We meet upstairs in the Parish Hall in a fun kid space. If you can’t attend every week, we are happy to welcome you when you can; bring your friends!
